Animated Snow Desktop Wallpaper is a program that will add falling snowflakes to your desktop. Before installing and running this utility, you will see snow flakes falling from the top to the bottom of the screen, where they will melt until they disappear. Animated Snow Desktop seizes the ability of Windows to display animated backgrounds. It will not modify your existing background scheme or image, it will just put soft snowflakes falling before the already present image.
Upon installation, the program will put a direct-access icon on your desktop. If you double-click on it, the snow will began to fall, and you will have an icon in the system tray. Right-clicking on it, you will access the context menu that will let you pause Animated Snow Desktop (the flakes will freeze on the desktop), exit the program or visit Artdock´s website. There are no parameters that you can configure, such as the number of flakes or their falling speed. You can only switch on or off the effect, but you cannot add images, or sound.
